Putnam Man With Six Prior Felonies Convicted Of Dealing, Possessing Cocaine

A Putnam County man with six prior felony convictions for drugs has been convicted again on three counts of sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession.

Omar Miles of Lake Peekskill was convicted Tuesday by a jury on the felony counts and faces a maximum of 36 years in state prison, said the Putnam County District Attorney's Office.

“This was a great collaborative effort involving the District Attorney’s Office, the Sheriff’s office, the Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Putnam Corrections, and the NYS Police Crime Lab.” District Attorney Robert V. Tendy said.

Miles will be sentenced on Nov. 14.
